PLOW DAY November 27th, 2009!!!

Plowing near Menfro, Missouri November 28th, 2009. We lucked out with warm, dry weather after plow day had been cancelled one week earlier due to seep water from the Mississippi River (which was at flood stage).

Left to right...Jim Buchheit on the 1951 JD A which his dad bought new a year before he was born. Jonathon Jeremiah on JD 420W. Alex Buchheit on 1952 JD B.

A view from the back of the 1952 B (driven by Alex Buchheit) and the JD No. 44H 2x14" plow. New coulters really helped out in the corn residue.

Jim Buchheit on 1958 JD 720 Diesel pulling a JD No. 555H 4x14" trailer plow (restored). The 555H did a superb job of plowing, leaving a very clean trail of freshly turned soil. 

Jonathon Jeremiah on 420W waiting his turn in the long line of tractors at plow day. The 1951 A next to it was purchased new by my grandfather, Anton Buchheit.
