River Hills Antique Tractor Club Plow Day

November 27th, 2009

This year's event was held at Davis Brothers Farms located near Menfro, Missouri.

I counted about 30 tractors & plows in action a one time and guess there may have been 35 plows & tractors total all day.

The weather was perfect with a S-SW wind at 10mph with the thermometer near 70°F with clear blue skies. The event was scheduled for November 21st, however due to wet weather and seep water from the Mississippi River (was at flood stage) was cancelled.

Our group of drivers included my Dad (Jim Buchheit), brother (Alex Buchheit), friend (Jonathon Jeremiah), and myself. We had my grandpa's 1951 JD A with JD No. 44H 2x16" plow, my 1952 JD B with JD No. 44H 2x14" plow, my 1958 JD 720 Diesel with JD No. 555H 4x14" plow.
